REAL ESTATE REASSESSMENT NOTICE

General Reassessment of Real Estate in the City of Lexington has been completed. Notices of property values were mailed to property owners May 19, 2026. Assessment appeals will be accepted through email or mail and must be received no later than June 19, 2026, by 5:00 p.m. Taxpayers who do not receive a reassessment notice should contact the Contracted Assessor's Office at 540-462-7652.  The Board of Equalization hearing dates will be announced in August 2026.
